Here at King Kaumuali’i Elementary we want every child to have the opportunity to succeed, by working together we can make that possible.

Class Description

Physical Education at KKES emphasizes enjoyable participation in physical activity. Students will develop the knowledge, attitudes, motor skills, behavioral skills, and confidence needed to adopt and maintain physically active lifestyles. During the school year students will participate in a variety of different activities and games that will help them develop physically, mentally, and socially. One of our primary goals is to encourage children to develop positive attitudes about themselves and about physical activity so that they will choose to be physically active throughout their lives. Another primary goal is to help children develop the movement competence that enables them to participate in physical activity successfully.
